I hope that through these pages I have managed to spark an passion or fuel the fire of an interest in international development with an engineering mindset. Beyond that though, Junior Fellowship provides enormous amounts of learning in cross-cultural interaction, self management, and leadership. It is not just “an African experience” – it is a opportunity to grow and define yourself as a leader in social thinking and problem solving. It is an opportunity to become a systems change agent!
If you or anyone you know, whether an engineer or not, has an interest in the program, I encourage you to check out the applications that are beginning for the 2013 class of Junior Fellows. You’ll be glad you did!
